Background
Hi! My name is Suki, a product designer with a background in education and healthcare. As a product designer, I strive to create intuitive, delightful, and engaging designs supported by deep research and analysis of the target user.
Experience
My background in education, pharmacy, and UX design merged seamlessly into my new UX design path.
In my time as a high school teacher, I needed to deliver effective lesson plans. Being effective required me to really pay attention to the students' behaviors and learn what captures and retains their focus. By being more attuned to my target users' needs, I was able to adjust my teaching style and have more engaging interactions with my students.
In the pharmacy industry, I adopted a philosophy that a personalized experience brings the greatest, positive impact to the patient. I practiced this daily as I listened to the patient’s concerns. After I gathered data through further questioning, I would carefully analyze the information. Success came from understanding what the patient is feeling and delivering recommendations that would build their confidence in the pharmaceutical intervention.
